My eyesight started changing a few years ago and I had genuinely accepted that my best quilting was behind me. A friend from guild sent me this after it changed her sessions. My vision loss is fairly advanced and it took me closer to 6–8 weeks to feel the confidence others describe at 2–3. I do think it's working — my seams are noticeably more consistent and my neck has stopped aching — but I wish the marketing was more upfront for quilters with significant vision changes. I docked one star for that, not for the product itself. The raised wall gives my hands a reference my eyes never could, which I really appreciate since every other guide I've tried assumed I could still see a thin flat line.

I mentioned it to my guild leader before buying and she actually approved the concept — said a physical wall that works by feel instead of sight is something she'd been waiting for someone to make for years. After eight weeks she could see the difference in my work at our next meeting. She said she'd start recommending it to every member dealing with changing eyesight. Good results, takes a little getting used to the grip
The consistency in my seams is real — definitely working. Only knock is the grip feels a bit firm at first. Goes away quickly though and I've gotten used to it.
